Two persons were killed and three others injured in firing incidents while police detained at least 48 suspects in different areas of the city on Wednesday.
As per details, at least two persons were killed and three others injured in incidents of firing in Malir Bakra Pairi, Steel Town and Old Golimar areas.
Police conducted search operations in Chanesar Goth East, Ittehad Town, Muhammad Colony, Korangi Industrial area, Manghopir Gulzarabad and Shah Faisal Colony and detained 48 persons including terrorist of a banned outfit.
Police also recovered weapons from the possession of the suspects, officials said.
