Our civil and military leadership vehemently proved at international level that Pakistan’s commitment to the Kashmir cause is firm, unequivocal and can never be subjugated. Pakistan refused to visit India at advisor level as India placed an unrealistic condition of calling off Pakistan’s meeting with Hurriyat leaders. It is definitely Pakistan’s diplomatic achievement as even the cancellation of visit has highlighted the core issue of Kashmir whish India wanted to sideline. It is hoped that the international community will realise the gravity of the situation and primary place of Kashmir between the two countries and will play their due role in persuading India for negotiations on Kashmir.
