National Assembly (NA) former speaker Ayaz Sadiq will file a petition in the Supreme Court (SC) today seeking nullification of Election Tribunal (ET) decision regarding NA-122 Lahore.
Sources said that copy of the ET’s decision was provided late to the former speaker, therefore, the process of filing appeal plea in SC was delayed.
Sadqi and his counsel are continuing consultations with the legal experts in connection with filing appeal plea in SC.
Sources said Sadiq and his counsel have reached Islamabad and will proceed to SC along with party leaders and workers to file appeal plea with registrar SC.
