Showing support for the National Action Plan (NAP), Federal Information Minister Pervaiz Rashid has said that the plan was “chalked out with the consensus of all political parties, civil society, intellectuals and journalists”.
Speaking at a press conference on federal cabinet’s decisions, the minister said that NAP’s implementation was the “only way” to resolve problems being faced by the country for three decades. He also said that Pakistan today was more secure than in 2013 when Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) assumed power.
Moreover, Rashid said that initiatives taken by the PML-N government for improving security situation in the country were being acknowledged by the international community.
