Punjab Minister for Law Rana Sanaullah has said the Election Commission is a respectable constitutional institution, therefore, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan should not level baseless allegations against it.
He advised Khan to shun the attitude of damaging the repute of constitutional institutions through baseless allegations.
He said that despite clear decision of judicial commission about elections, PTI is resorting to unjustified hue and cry.
Commenting on the statement of PTI chairman, Sanaullah said that Khan wants to take wicket on every no ball. He said that Khan does not believe that he has lost the match.
He said that the PTI leader wants justice of his own choice on every occasion.
“Imran Khan should not waste the time of the nation,” he added.
He said that those making the nation hostage in the name of sit-ins cannot hoodwink the masses as the people are now conscious.
Rana Sanaullah said that those criticising metro bus are, in fact, enemy of the masses. He said that Khan is afraid of popularity of metro bus and he cannot see country and the nation progressing. He said that people cast votes in favour of those who serve the masses.
