Two persons were killed and two others injured in different firing incidents in the metropolis on Monday.
According to rescue sources, a four days old body of a tortured man, aged about 27, was recovered near Lal Pull in Azeempura, Shah Faisal Colony in Malir. It was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center for a postmortem.
A man, aged about 30, was gunned down by unknown armed person in New Karachi Industrial area New Karachi. The body was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for an autopsy.
In another incident, a man, Ghufran, 35, son of Muhammad Ather was injured by accidental fire of a security guard near Noorani Masjid in Gull Plaza. He was rushed to Civil Hospital Karachi CHK for treatment.
A youth, Muzammil, 23, son of Altaf, resident of Behar Colony in Jamshed Road, was shot and injured by unknown gunmen near K-Electric office in Bahadurabad. He was brought to CHK for treatment.
