The Custom authorities on Sunday foiled a bid to smuggle expensive mobile phones at the Allama Iqbal International Airport.
As per details, a passenger of a private airline coming from Thailand tried to smuggle 36 mobile phones. The vigilance team, during body search, recovered mobile phones from the passenger which were attached to his body.
The Custom authorities stated that the passenger hailed from Gujranwala, however, no case was registered against him due to his clear past record.
