At least two persons were killed and five other sustained serious injuries when a passenger van collided with a road barrier in G-13.
The police sources said the incidents took place due to over speeding as passenger van (TS786) skidded off the road and rammed into a road barrier. The victims were identified as Shahbaz and Abdussamad, residents of Chiniot, who were returning to G-13 after attending Urs at Golra Sharif.
The victims were rushed to Pakistan Institute of Medical (PIMS), where doctors pronounced them dead. The bodies were sent to their native town for burial.
The police have registered a case against driver Shahid Iqbal and started an investigation.
