Shopkeeper killed in Quetta, three bodies found in Turbat

Unidentified armed men shot dead a shopkeeper at Hazar Ganji area of provincial capital on Sunday.

According to police sources, the victim was present in his shop when armed assailants came there and opened fire on him and fled from the scene. As a result, he succumbed to his injuries on way to the hospital.

The reason of killing could not be ascertained so far. Further investigation was underway.

In the meanwhile, three bullets riddled unidentified bodies were recovered in Turbat on Sunday.

Levies sources said that locals spotted three dead bodies in Dasht area of district Turbat after which security personnel reached the area and took the bodies into custody. The bodies were shifted to hospital for medico-legal formalities and identification.

Tension and uncertainty prevailed in the area after recovery of three dead bodies.
