Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari will visit Islamabad tomorrow to kick off his party’s campaign for local bodies elections in Punjab.

According to details, the PPP leader is likely to meet office-bearers of 10 Punjab districts during his first formal political visit to the province which is aimed at finalizing preparations for local government polls.

Party sources said the chairman had decided to take command of local government elections and inject new spirit in the ranks and files as the party had lost several seats since 2013 general elections.

Reports said Shehla Raza and other PPP leaders have already reached Islamabad to make the Bilawal’s visit a success.

After Islamabad, Bilawal will visit Lahore in second phase, the report said, and he will meet party leaders of the districts where local government elections are going to take place in the first phase.
