PTI exposes conspiracy of “gang of 133,730” PML-N activists that rigged NA-19 polls

Lahore – Our PTI Correspondent: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Saturday revealed a comprehensive case on what it says is the biggest rigging exercise in a single constituency in the history of the country.

“Ordinarily, polling day rigging is limited to the police, civil administration and a number of returning officers, who might make up, 250 people tops,” said PTI leader Asad Umar. “But we have definitive proof that the PML-N candidate was actively supported by a staggering 133,730 of locals in the NA-19 by-polls.”

“In their hubris, the League forgot that a secret is hard to keep within 10 people, what to speak of such a large number,” said Shireen Mazari, who has already filed a petition against the by-polls.

The PTI alleges that many of this group of individuals were card-holding members of the PML-N, whereas many had made up their minds to vote for the League in the run up to the elections.

The Election Commission declined to comment on the matter.
