The climate is changing adversely at an alarming and the whole world should pay attention on to the issue.
This was stated by a participant who attended a workshop on Climate Change on August Friday organised by Individualland Pakistan in Lahore. The importance and significance of Climate Change was discussed in the workshop as well as its effects and repercussions.
A similar sensitisation workshop was earlier held in Karachi on August 19, 2015.
One of the participants from Karachi was of the view, “Climate change is occurring so rapidly that one minute it is hot and suddenly it starts to rain heavily due to which the weather becomes quite cold. The current floods in Punjab are an example of this due to which thousands of people have become homeless.”
