58.85% students cleared FBISE HSSC Part I examination 2015

The Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE) on Friday announced the result of Higher Secondary School part one (HSSC-I) with 58.85 pass percentage.

A total of 56,209 students including 53,856 regular and 2,353 private candidates appeared in the examination, among which, 33,081 students were declared successful, including 32,519 regular and 562 private students.

The pass percentage of regular students remained 60.38 per cent and the ratio of private students was 23.88 per cent. In the Pre-Medical Group, 9,971 female and 3,772 male students took the exams, of a total of 13,890 enrolled students. The result showed that 7,479 female and 2,675 male students cleared all the papers showing a pass percentage of 73.88 per cent.

In Pre-Engineering Group, 12,061 male and 3,779 female students appeared in the examination among a total of 15,977 enrolled students. 7,814 boys and 2,749 girls passed with a 66.69 per cent pass ratio.

In the General Science Group, 6,886 male and 4,832 female students appeared, from a total of 11,839 enrolled students. 2,513 male and 2,908 female students were declared successful with a pass percentage of 46.26.

In Commerce Group, 4,923 students appeared including 4,280 regular and 643 private students among 5,049 enrolled students. The result showed that 2,089 regular and 165 private students passed the examination.

In the Humanities Group, 9,751 students appeared including 8,041 regular and 1,710 private students, from a total of 9,914 enrolled students.  The pass ratio of this group remained 75.4 per cent with 52.18 per cent regular and 23.33 per cent private students.

    There will be no supply examination in this year.
    Rules changed. You can only clear those failed subjects on next year's examination or with next class with failed subjects.
