The Special Police Unit (SPU) of Peshawar police arrested a terrorist belonging to a banned outfit besides recovering remote controlled bomb here on Friday.
The SPU on a tip-off launched crackdown near Haji Camp Adda in provincial capital Peshawar. During operation the SPU arrested a terrorist identified as Waheedullah along with 11 kilogram remote controlled bomb contained in a water cooler.
The detained terrorist belonged to Orakzai Agency and he was involved in attacks on security forces in Bara and Tirah Valley in Khyber Agency.
The recovered bomb was defused by BDS and the nabbed terrorist has been shifted to an undisclosed destination for further interrogation.
