A memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed here on Friday between Sindh Police and the citizen’s movement, Voice of Karachi(VOK) to fight street crimes in the city.
This is a first step towards a citizen-police partnership to fight crime, an official statement said.
President of the VOK, Ali Manzoor, Additional IGP Karachi, Mushtaq Ahmed Mahar were also present. President VOK, Ali Manzoor said VOK is a citizens body which has come into existence to help the citizens of Karachi and to solve the general problems faced by common citizens due to various reasons.
