Several journalists coming to cover MQM Leader Rashid Godil were tortured and injured by security guards at the Liaquat National Hospital on Thursday.
The guards also broke the cameras of the journalists. The condition of one of the injured is said to be critical.
Later, the journalists staged a sit-in on Stadium Road, suspending traffic.
However, they ended the protest after the arrest of two guards.
