Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Rashid Godil had expressed concerns over threats to his life.
Talking to journalists after resigning from the National Assembly, Godil had said that he might not visit the federal capital again as his enemies might take his life. “I am aware of the threats to my life,” Godil had said. “I might not even live to see the month of September,” he added.
However, the former MQM lawmaker did not name the persons who wanted to take his life. He had refused to discuss the matter on-camera.
