Four people were killed and two others injured in different incidents in the metropolis on Monday.
A man, Muhammad Hussain Qadri, 60, was killed and Muhammad Ramzan, 38, injured in firing by unknown gunmen in Ittihad Town area of Baldia Town. The body and injured were shifted to Civil Hospital Karachi.
A man, Dilshad, 35, son of Waseem, resident of Orangi Town, was gunned down by unknown armed men in Iqbal Market, Orangi 11 ½. The body was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital (ASH) for medico-legal formalities.
According to rescue sources, a child labour, Ahtesham, 13, son of Muhammad Mohsin, resident of New Karachi, was strangulated to death in an embroidery factory near Godhra bus stop in New Karachi area. The body was shifted to ASH for a postmortem.
A rickshaw driver, aged about 22, was killed by dacoits when he offered resistance to them in a bid of robbery in Kashmir Road. The body was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center for an autopsy.
In another incident, a youth, Gul Hassan, 25, son of Nadir, was shot and injured by unknown armed men in Saba Avenue in DHA Phase 8. He was rushed to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center for treatment.
