The traders community has united once again and is all set to protest against imposition of withholding tax nationwide on August 18.
According to details, various groups of traders held a joint press conference at Federal Chamber of Commerce in which Khalid Pervez, Khawaja Shafiq, Naeem Mir, Haji Pervez, Ashraf Bhatti and other prominent trade leaders participated.
The trade leaders announced a countrywide protest against imposition of withholding tax on banking transactions. On this occasion, it was also announced that a 36-member Supreme Council would be formed for traders’ unity and future decisions.
