Superintendent of Police (SP) Investigation Kasur, Nadeem Abbas was suspended on Saturday for ‘inefficiency in investigating the child abuse case properly’.

According to details, SP Nadeem Abbas was designated ‘on special duty’. He joins the area’s DPO and an SHO who had been designated as OSD on August 11.

In his stead, Ali Nasir Rizvi will now be posted as District Police Officer (DPO) Kasur. IG Punjab Mushtaq Sukhera had announced that SHO Mehr Akmal had been removed from his post after charges were leveled of abetting members of the pornography ring by sharing information about complainants against them.
