Talking to Radio Pakistan, Information Minister Pervaiz Rashid has said that the government has achieved major successes in the war on terror and on the economic front over the last one year.
He said the situation in Karachi and Balochistan has improved a lot and they celebrated Independence Day this year with full zeal and enthusiasm.
The minister said the world leaders are also recognising Pakistan’s sacrifices in the war on terrorism. He pointed out that the Belarusian president during the visit of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to the country appreciated Pakistan’s anti-terrorism efforts.
World’s leading journals and financial institutions are also recognising Pakistan’s achievements on the economic front, he added.
The minister said the country’s foreign exchange reserves have reached record level while the inflation has reduced to single digit. Our stock market is being ranked in the world’s best performing markets.
