Sindh Home Minister Sohail Anwar Sial on Saturday announced to address Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s (MQM) reservations over Karachi operation and vowed to resolve the matter of Rao Anwar’s press conference on merit.
Sohail Anwar Sial expressed these views at 89th police passing out parade held at Police Training Centre in Saeedabad on Saturday. He said the government was playing an important role in training police personnel with advanced military technology.
Speaking at the ceremony, Inspector General (IG) Sindh Ghulam Haider Jamali lauded the efforts of police department, adding that officers were keen to launch operation against extremists and terrorists. He said more than 17,000 cops had got counter terrorism training until now. The IG revealed that Sindh police had resolved Safoora carnage and some other high profile cases. At least 658 recruits from across country participated in the parade and paid guard of honour to the honorable chief guest.
