At least six people were killed and two others sustained severe injuries when their vehicle plunged into a ravine in Ganwal area on Swat road on Thursday.
As per details, the vehicle was carrying at least eight tourists to Naran from Balakot when suddenly it fell into a ditch due to the rain, killing six tourists and injuring two others. Locals gathered after hearing the screams and rescued the victims. The victims belonged to Multan.
The injured were shifted to Balakot Hospital for medicinal aid. The deceased were identified as Haseeb, Adeel, Shahid Niazi, Mohsina and Aijaz.
According to rescue officials, the incident took place after the road became slippery due to rain.
