Mobile phone services will be suspended in the federal capital on Independence Day (14 August) from 6am till 1pm.
According to Interior Ministry sources, the mobile phone service suspension is part of security measures for Independence Day celebrations planned in the federal capital.
On Thursday, mobile phone services were suspended in Islamabad due to the ongoing rehearsals for Independence Day celebrations. Networks began coming back to life a little after 12:30pm and complete service was restored.
