Drawing a comparison between the resignations submitted by the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) and his party, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Imran Khan said on Wednesday that MQM’s resignations are aimed at saving target killers.
“A tale of 2 resignations: One to investigate an election where all parties claimed election was rigged; & the other to save target killers,” Khan stated on his twitter handle.
MQM lawmakers relinquished their seats in the National Assembly and Sindh Assembly on Wednesday in protest against what they described was a crackdown on the political party in guise of an anti-crime operation in Karachi.
