Bollywood megastar Salman Khan was all praise for Edhi and his foundation for raising and keeping Geeta, an Indian girl stranded in Pakistan, for all these years.
During an interview with the press regarding his blockbuster Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Salman stressed that Geeta must be given a better lifestyle in India than the one in Pakistan “otherwise point kya hua?”.
Although the Bollywood megastar was not aware of Geeta’s history, he was thankful to Edhi for housing a lost girl for 13 years, reported NDTV
“We should thank the NGO in Pakistan (Edhi Foundation, which has looked after Geeta all these years) for supporting her and giving her a good life. We should respect the fact that they have kept an Indian there for such a long time,” he said.
