KASUR: The wife of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan, Reham Khan, said Monday that the victims of the child abuse scandal — the children and their parents — are looking towards the Parliament and the Punjab government to seek justice, according to local media sources.

She was addressing a press conference after meeting the families and victims of child abuse on her visit to Kasur.

Reham urged Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to follow through on his promise to deliver ‘exemplary punishment’ to the culprits, reportedly.

“Justice should be delivered as swiftly as possible; people will not accept any delays in the judicial inquiry,” she asserted.

“Sexual abuse of children is not a problem unique to Kasur and there is an urgent need to rid Pakistan of this ill,” she added.
