The entire nation is united to eradicate the scourge of terrorism and extremism from the country, said Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif while talking to Railways Minister Khawaja Saad Rafique in Lahore on Sunday.

The chief minister said that the armed forces are writing history of gallantry with their blood in the anti-terror combat operation Zarb-e-Azb.

He also lauded the improvement in Pakistan Railways and said the department will soon stand on its own feet during the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) government.

BARJEES, HAFEEZ DISCUSS IMPORTANT ISSUES:

In the meanwhile, Gilgit Baltistan Governor Barjees Tahir and Chief Minister Hafiz Hafeezur Rehman called on the chief minister in Lahore on Sunday to discuss matters of mutual interest and other important issues.

On this occasion, the Punjab chief minister expressed sorrow and grief over the loss of lives and properties due to floods in Gilgit Baltistan.
