Akbar Khan Bugti Express, which moves between Lahore and Quetta, was stranded at Jacobabad Railway Station for the past many hours at the filling of this report as it was not given security clearance to enter Balochistan.
According to a passenger, they were not being told the reason of the unscheduled stay. The passengers ran out of water and food resources due to prolonged stay at the station and faced more problems as there was no electricity in the train.
Despite repeated attempted, the call to Railways helpline 117 could not be connected.
