MQM to move SC to file fresh missing persons petition

Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain on Thursday announced to move the Supreme Court to file a fresh petition against the missing persons in Karachi.

Addressing MQM workers at Lal Qila Ground, Altaf said that no suo moto notice was taken nor any commission was formed over the issue of missing MQM workers. He said that conspiracy is being hatched in Islamabad against him.

The MQM chief further stated that the party always respected the military, adding that the personnel of the army, Rangers and police are sons of the soil.

Criticising the members of the MQM’s Rabita Committee, Altaf said that some of them are leading extravagant lives abroad. He asked the workers as to what he should do if the members of Rabita Committee abandon him. He directed the Rabita Committee to hold a “record-breaking rally” within a week against the “victimization” of MQM activists.

  1. MQM leadership is all the time busy to some thing for nothing to hold its populous support . Filing of application against missing persons in Supreme Court of Pakistan will approved to be futile exercise . They first handover the persons demanded by Ranger who were involved in hueonic crimes .
