An Anti Terrorist Court (ATC) on Friday reserved its verdicts on an application seeking cancellation of interim bail of Dr Zulfiqar Mirza in four cases.
The prosecutor requested the court to cancel the interim bail of former provincial home minister Dr Zulfiqar Mirza and stated that he challenged the writ of state and spread terror. On the other side, Mirza’s counsel opposed the cancellation of interim bail of his client as cases registered against him were made on ‘political basis’. Not even a single witness has recorded his statement so far, the Mirza’s counsel argued. After hearing the arguments from both sides, the ATC judge reserved his verdict which will be pronounced on 18th August.
