KARACHI: Police registered on Wednesday a case against three unidentified men for the murder of a woman in Karachi’s Defence area, local media authorities stated.
The victim, identified as 49-year-old Mahreen, wife of Ali Hassan, was shot dead late night on Tuesday on 26th Street in the Defence Housing Authority within the limits of the Darakhshan police station, reportedly.
The complainant, in his statement, told the police that his father used to work at a private bank and the incident occurred at a time when his parents were returning to their home located in Phase VI, DHA, the SHO added.
“My parents were returning home after visiting a restaurant at Do-Darya,” the SHO quoted the victim’s son as saying.
