Govt provides financial aid martyred Constable Haseebur Rehman’s family

The Punjab government has provided financial aid worth Rs 5 million to the family of martyred Constable Haseebur Rehman who laid down his life during the encounter against terrorists on July 28. 

The cheque of financial aid was presented to his widow by Punjab Minister for Law Rana Sanaullah Khan and Inspector General of Police (IGP) Mushtaq Sukhera on behalf of the Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif at the residence of Haseeb, Chak No 209/RB Jaranwala road.

National Assembly Member (MNA) Mian Muhammad Farooq, Punjab Assembly Member (MPA) Muhammad Nawaz Malik, RPO Ehsan Tufail, CPO Afzaal Kausar, others officers and elite of the area were also present on the occasion.

The law minister and IGP expressed their condolence with the father of the martyred and other members of aggrieved family. They offered Fateha for departed soul of and paid rich tribute to his services.

They said that the government would look after the family of Haseeb Shaheed with full responsibility and the full salary would be paid to the widow till the age of retirement of the martyred constable.

Moreover, the family of Shaheed would be provided medical facilities free of cost and free education would be arranged for the children of the martyred as per their choice.

They announced for providing job for one member of martyr’s family.

Later, the law minister, IGP and others visited DHQ Hospital and enquired about the health of injured Constables Shoaib and Ghulam Mustafa who received bullet injuries during the encounter with the terrorists.

They prayed for early recovery of the constables and said that all out medical facilities were being provided for their treatment.
