KARACHI: The Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) denied on Sunday that its London-based chief Altaf Hussain had talked about seeking “help from India, Nato and the United Nations” in his speech at a party programme held in the United States on Saturday, according to local media sources.
The MQM coordination committee held a late-night press conference in response to widespread criticism of Mr Hussain’s latest remarks, reportedly.
Party leader Dr Farooq Sattar said Mr Hussain’s speech was within the parameters of the Constitution of Pakistan, sources stated.
“The MQM and Altaf Hussain are inseparable,” he declared. “He is struggling for the rights of Mohajirs and [was] speaking on behalf of 50 million Mohajirs.”
Altaf Hussain does not represent all Urdu speaking people whose forefathers migrated from what today forms part of India. If he enjoys support of all of them, why should MQM have an armed militant wing, which uses force, threats and intimidation to collect Bhatta from Karachi, or resort to target killings. It is a fascist party which under garb of politics is involved or organiEd crime earning billions from criminal economy that has wrecked the once peaceful city of Karachi.
The real face of MQM is before nation and his family is the one who sacrificed for freedom . He has besieged muhajirs through MQM fascists hold out in Karachi . Due operation their economic political and illegal acts are being stopped and criminal irrespective of any parties are taken to account ,the only hue and cry is being raised by MQM as it is main stake holder of this mess . Local leadership is forced to speak in favour of Altaf Hussain due and midhap with them .
I had never any doubt about the MQM. Many times I have written tha it is Klu Klux Klan type racist organization that has manipulated the people of Karachi to gain benefits. It's organization that is worst than TTP because the TTP does what it claims and then accepts it but people running MQM headed by Altaf can change what ever they say and do but real theirs is coming out from Altaf.
