LANDI KOTAL: Security forces on Saturday arrested an important militant commander in Jamrud, according to local media sources.
Security officials said Taliban commander Umar Khan Maki Khel was arrested from a house in Ghundi area during a joint raid conducted by Swat Scouts and Khasadar force.
They said Umar Khan was wanted in a number of sabotage cases. The capture of Umar is the second important seizure of militant commander in Jamrud during last three days.
Officials said security forces also seized huge quantity of arms and ammunition from another empty house in Malakabad locality.
