ISLAMABAD: A case against Bahria Town registered by Airport Police, on the orders of the apex court on July 24, was reregistered at Loi Bher Police Station on Saturday, as the incident took place in the latter’s jurisdiction, according to local media sources.
The case was finally registered on July 24, ten years after the complaint was made in 2005 against the country’s biggest real estate developer by a forest department official Jamil Ahmed, reportedly.
The case was registered on charges of PPC 353 (assault or criminal force to deter public servant from discharge of his duty), 382 (theft after preparation made for causing death, hurt or restraint in order to the committing of the theft), 365 (kidnapping or abducting with intent secretly and wrongfully to confine person), 148 (rioting, armed with deadly weapon), 186 (obstructing public servant in discharge of public functions),149 (every member of unlawful assembly guilty of offence committed in prosecution of common object), 506 (criminal intimidation), 440 (mischief committed after preparation made for causing death or hurt) and 447 (criminal trespass), according to case allegations.
