Aziz commiserates Kalam’s death

Prime Minister’s Adviser on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz on Thursday visited the Indian High Commission to offer his condolences on the demise of India’s former president APJ Abdul Kalam.

Aziz, accompanied by Foreign Secretary Aizaz Ahmad Chaudhry, wrote his comments in the Condolence Book and expressed his country’s sympathies with the government and the people of India.

Kalam was laid to rest on Thursday in his hometown Rameswaram in Tamil Nadu with full military honours. He died on Monday following cardiac arrest.
