Pakistan cricket team’s scheduled visit to Zimbabwe has been postponed, which was expected to take place in August-September this year.
Sources told a news channel, the decision was taken by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and the Cricket Zimbabwe unanimously as the latter was facing difficulties with regards to sponsors and broadcasting rights.
They said Pakistani team would visit Zimbabwe in the next available time-slot in the future.
Victory in the ongoing ODI series in Sri Lanka has brightened Pakistan’s chances of qualifying for the Champions Trophy tournament.
West Indies, the Caribbean team in contention with Pakistan for the last available Champions Trophy slot, is likely to be left out of the tournament if it fails to secure an ODI series till September.
