Federal Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan on Saturday said that Rangers have been given special powers in Karachi in accordance with the constitution and the law of Pakistan.
“All political forces and state institutions must work in a united fashion to resolve issues facing Pakistan,” Nisar said while talking to reporters here.
Answering a question regarding the recent judicial commission report, he said: “The verdict of the judicial commission is based on facts and evidence provided, and not rumours and media reports.”
He said that there was no need for any party to apologise over the failed rigging charges, and said it was time for all political parties to work for Pakistan’s progress.
