KDA officials reveal allotment of land on fake applications

The Karachi Development Authority (KDA) officials on Saturday revealed to have allotted land on thousands of fake applications.

The Federal Investigation Agency’s (FIA) Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) has geared up to bring KDA officials to justice in China cutting cases. According to sources, key confessions have been made during investigation of different cases. The federal institution also has expanded its scale of investigation.

Thousands of fake applications to illegally bag allotments have been revealed. Most of the forged applications follow a common path in stating the problem. The common issue stated by different supposed applicants is need of land as their property has been grabbed by land mafia.

Sources said that arrested officials of the Karachi Development Authority (KDA) used to earn at least Rs 1 crore per month illegally. Applications state demands from 120 yards to 1,000 yards of land. The KDA officials had also allotted local builders several acres of land. The FIA has geared up to register a case of funding terrorists after completing the ongoing investigations.
