An accountability court on Thursday the extended judicial remand of former minister for mines and mineral Ziaullah Afridi for 13 days.
The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ehtesab Commission produced former minister for mines and mineral Ziaullah Afridi before the accountability court for further judicial remand in tight security arrangements.
The Ehtesab Commission requested to Accountability Court for 15-day judicial remand. However, the court extended his judicial remand for 13 days.
The PTI former minister has completed 13 days physical remand in the custody of Ehtesab Commission.
Ziaullah was arrested in chargers of corruption and misusing the authority on July 8. On the very next day, he was produced accountability court where he was handed over to Accountability Commission for physical remand.
The accountability court adjourned the hearing till August 4.
