KARACHI: The Pakistan Cricket Board on Wednesday announced their 16-man squad for the two-match Twenty20 series against Sri Lanka.
The Shahid Afridi led side saw young middle-order batsman Umar Akmal brought into the squad after being overlooked for the ODIs against the Islanders.
Youngsters, Nouman Anwar and Imad Wasim were also given a chance to prove their talent while the inclusion of Wahab Riaz was subjected to his match fitness after he incurred an injury during the Tests against Sri Lanka.
