Top PPP leadership to ‘shake-up’ Sindh cabinet

Leadership of the Pakistan Peoples Party has decided to shake up their Sindh cabinet and take action against corrupt officials in the bureaucracy, sources told a private media outlet.

A special meeting of the PPP leadership, co-chaired by Chairperson Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and Co-Chairperson Asif Ali Zardari in Dubai Tuesday evening, expressed dissatisfaction over the performance of some of the provincial ministries and departments.

The meeting, attended by Sindh Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah, Information Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon, Finance Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah, MNA Faryal Talpur and Senator Rehman Malik, reviewed the overall performance of the Sindh government.

It also reviewed the performance of the provincial ministries.
