At least nine suspected militants, including three commanders, were killed while five others were arrested during a search operation in Awaran and Khuzdar areas of Balochistan on Monday.
According to a FC official, a key commander was among the nine militants targeted during the raid. He claimed that the killed militants were involved in the Mastung and Turbat attacks in recent months in which 40 people were gunned down.
