On 17th July, 2015, three more children in Civil Hospital, Mithi (Tharparkar) passed away due to malnutrition. In Sindh around 40 per cent children are malnourished. Majority of such affected children live in Tharparkar district of Sindh. Health Department officials are just enjoying their lives and lining their pockets and never care about the job for which they are appointed or being paid.
Naturally, I am in a state of panic as to where our provincial and federal governments are as innocent children of the poor are dying due to malnutrition. It is the responsibility of the government to provide food to all its citizens. Now, it seems that there is no government in our country. We are at the mercy of the nature. I request non-governmental organisations (NGOs) to contribute in this regard and save the children of Sindh from absolute malnutrition.
