40 people killed in different incidents across country on Eid

More than 40 people were killed and about 150 injured in different incidents on Eid days across the country.

According to details, six members of a family drowned in a rainy nullah in Bhimber, Azad Kashmir; four girls drowned in Badin and six members of a family were killed in a train accident near Hyderabad. In Panul Aqil, a child drowned in the river and three persons drowned in Sanghar as they fell in the river while taking a turn on their motorcycle. Two bodies were recovered.

Three persons drowned while swimming in the sea at Gaddani, two other persons lost their lives when their speeding car fell into a lake in Sajjawal.

Four people were killed in a one-wheeling race in Faisalabad while about 100 were injured in different accidents in Abbottabad, Lahore and other cities. In Lahore, four persons died and eleven were injured in rain-related incidents.

Four more people died in Hassanabdal near Abbottabad Morr in an accident between a motorcycle and a car. Two labourers died due to poisonous gas in Ghazi area of Haripur.
