India’s Border Security Force (BSF) on Saturday resorted to ‘unprovoked’ firing along the Line of Control (LOC) near Nezapir Sector of Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
While no casualties were reported, the ISPR said such violations were regular on festive occasions.
“Indians fire across LoC at Nezapir again. Pattern shows they resort to such violations every festive occasion. Ironic they violate and also accuse,” said DG ISPR Major General Asim Bajwa in a tweet.
The recent spree of firing at LoC started earlier this week. Pakistan Army on Friday registered India’s ceasefire violations with the United Nations Military Observers Group in India and Pakistan (UNMOGIP) as unprovoked Indian shelling from across the LoC killed another Pakistani civilian.
