Chairman Ruet-i-Hilal Committee Mufti Munib-ur-Rehman announced the sighting of moon for the month of Shawwal and said that Eidul Fitr will be celebrated on Saturday.
The Ruet-i-Hilal Committee had convened earlier in a meeting to sight the moon for Eidul Fitr.
Eid was celebrated on Friday in different districts of KP, including Bannu, Kohat, Charsadda, Mardan, Swat, Peshawar, and North and South Waziristan Agencies after Mufti Shahabuddin Popalzai of Masjid Qasim Ali Khan in Peshawar declared on Thursday that the Shawwal crescent had been sighted in KP.
