President Mamnoon Hussain on Thursday traveled on Metro Bus with general passengers from Pakistan Secretariat to Faiz Ahmed Faiz Bus Station, H-9 and went back to Pakistan Secretariat, local media sources reported.
Metro Bus Project (MBP) Project Director and Commissioner Zahid Saeed gave detailed briefing about the metro bus service and the facilities provided to the people.
President Mamnoon Hussain appreciated the Metro Bus Service and said that the government should provide better facilities to the common man and it was the best example in this regard.
The contractors of the project have assured the government to complete the work on pending sections by July 31. However, again, they missed the deadline.
