One killed, six injured in city violence

A man was killed and six others injured in different violence incidents in the metropolis on Friday.

A man, Shahid Ali Khan, 34, son of Abdul Qayum was killed when he offered resistance to muggers near Al-Falah Bank, 13-D in Gulshan Iqbal. The body was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) for an autopsy.

Two men, Daniyal, 30, son of Imran and Imam Din, 22, son of Fazal Din was shot and injured by unknown armed men near Sughra Imam Bargah in Korangi. They were shifted to JPMC for treatment.

A woman, Hina Inam, 36, was injured to bullets by unidentified gunmen in Defence Housing Authority. She was brought to a private hospital for treatment.

In another incident, a youth, Imran, 22, son of Abdur Rahman, and his wife, Razia, 22, were injured when unknown armed men opened fire on them in Khuda-ki Basti, Surjani area. They were shifted to AbbasiShaheedHospital for treatment.

Yet in another incident, a man, Wajid, 25, son of Sajid Baloch was shot and injured by unknown gunmen in Lee Market area of Lyari. He was rushed to Civil Hospital Karachi (CHK) for treatment.
